Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply specifically to purchases made through shop.bewellasheville.com — the Be Well Asheville commercial marketplace, including Get Listed guide placements and advertising products. They supplement, and do not replace, bewellasheville.com’s general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, which continue to govern your general use of Be Well Asheville’s sites and any content you submit. By purchasing a Get Listed placement, you agree to both the terms below and those general terms.

2. What you’re purchasing

A Get Listed purchase is for a specific package (Basic, Premium, or Sponsor) in a specific guide — the one you selected at checkout. It does not transfer to a different guide or package after purchase.

3. Billing & renewal

• Get Listed packages are sold as annual subscriptions, billed once per year.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
• You can cancel your subscription through Manage My Services. Cancel before your renewal date to prevent the next charge. Cancellation stops future renewals; your placement remains active through the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Rates are subject to change for future terms; your current rate is locked for as long as your subscription remains active and payments are current.
• Payments are non-refundable. Canceling a subscription does not refund the current paid period.
• 20% of your subscription cost goes toward promoting the guide as a whole, driving traffic to you and the other businesses featured in it.

4. Completing your listing

Purchasing a package reserves your placement — it does not, by itself, produce or publish your listing. After purchase, you must complete the intake form for your package (linked on your confirmation page and in your confirmation email) with the business details, photos, and copy required for your tier. Your listing cannot be produced or published until that information is received.

All submissions are subject to review and approval prior to publication, consistent with the general Terms linked above. For existing guides, please allow 5–7 business days after all materials are received. For new or upcoming guides, production may take up to 30 days from purchase.

5. Availability

Each guide has a limited number of Basic, Premium, and Sponsor spots. Availability shown at checkout is live, but capacity can change between when you view a guide and when you complete checkout if another purchase completes first.

6. Content standards

Content you submit for your listing is subject to the same User Content standards described in bewellasheville.com’s Terms & Conditions — accurate, non-infringing, and not defamatory, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited there.

7. Governing law & disputes

Governing law and dispute resolution are covered by the general Be Well Asheville Terms & Conditions, which also apply to marketplace purchases.
